Modern app for Windows 8. This app would be great on tablets with pen capabilities (i.e. Surface Pro 2 and 3). It would be a perfect fit.24 votes
Update: Squid is no longer available on Windows (it was removed some time ago). We hope we can bring Squid back to Windows someday (vote at http://feedback.squidnotes.com/forums/177239/suggestions/35359021 for updates), but right now we’re focused on Android and Chromebook support.
Previous response (11/14/2014):
Papyrus is now available for Windows 8.1! You can download it from the Windows Store: http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/papyrus-natural-note-taking/6292be27-81ee-4f93-9673-c02ca3fefea3
If you have both a Windows Phone and Windows tablet, your premium features will be unlocked on both devices!
You can now delete a single page from a note by long pressing on the current page number and choosing “Delete page”.
More functionality for the S Pen button. When you click the S Pen button, a little tool box should pop up close to the position of the pen. The tool box should have your most recent colors and custom pens/writing tools.69 votes
We’ve had S Pen (active pen) side button gestures for a long time. See http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1144963 for more details.

This has been available for a long time. To email a note as a PDF or images, see http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/501223. From there, any email app that accepts either a PDF or images will appear as an option to share with.

Would be nice to organize pages like delete a single page, move a page in front of other, and so on1,131 votes
You can now easily view all pages in a note by tapping the current page number while in a note!
From this screen you can long press a page, then drag and drop to move the page anywhere in the note.
You can also bulk delete pages in a note by long pressing a page, then tap any additional pages you want to delete, then tap the delete button in the action bar at the top.
In addition, you can clear the current page, select everything on the current page, delete the current page, and insert a page or PDF before or after the current page by long pressing on the current page number.
We’ll continue to add functionality to the page management screen, such as making it easier to insert pages and PDFs, as well as duplicating pages. Stay tuned!

It would be nice if I could create a new note from a multipage pdf so that I could markup the pdf and take notes on it from within papyrus. Perhaps with the additional feature of allowing me to insert normal papyrus notebook pages into the pdf note for adding additional notes that there aren't room for on the original pdf.837 votes
Finally! Support for PDF notes in Papyrus is here! We’ve been working on this feature for a very long time and I know all of you have been eagerly awaiting PDF support. We’re very excited to have PDF import in Papyrus 1.0 (available now in Google Play). Please feel free to continue to provide your thoughts and feedback on this idea or submit new ideas related to PDF import.
Thank you all for your patience!
I know that accessing a single button press is usable by an application because lecture notes uses it. A single press could switch between functions like S-Note. I also know that S-Pen functions can be intercepted in a rooted device like GMD SPen gestures, so rooted functions could be added as well.154 votes
The Note 4 and Note Edge finally allow us to perform actions with the S Pen side button (configurable in the Papyrus settings). Prior to these devices, we cannot control what happens when you press the S Pen side button. We hope Samsung will release updates to older devices in the future with the ability to detect the S Pen side button.
Note: It is possible to detect the S Pen side button while hovering on older devices, however this is not as intuitive or useful as being able to hold down the S Pen side button while touching the screen with the pen, which is now possible on the Note 4/Note Edge (and hopefully more devices soon)!
Problem: Photo taken inside Papyrus (Add Image - From Camera). Needs to be used in another program or sent to a computer.
Work around? Copy the image into clipboard and paste it in some thirdparty tool to save as an image. Main drawbacks - time consuming, requires 3rd party, poor photo quality.13 votes
When adding an image to a page, photos taken using the Camera are now also saved to the device’s public photo storage in a folder called Squid and will automatically appear in your camera roll (e.g. Gallery, Google Photos).
currently one finger actions actions work as an eraser which is great, But how am I going to Scroll to the areas that are Not visible,"This is where the two-finger sensitive actions may come into play,5 votes

We just released an update on Google Play today (v0.7.0) which lets you jump to any page in the note by tapping the current page number. Also notes now open to the last page viewed by default (this can be disabled in the settings).
