Allow copying/duplicating notes within and between notebooks.
You can now duplicate a selected note from the main screen in Squid. For details, please see this article: http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1963975
This would be a great addition to the software.
I need this too. I have to keep old versions, or make alternate versions, of some notes without destroying the original note.
If the template is one page, you could copy the page using the selection tool. The selection tool works by circling all the text (obvious) or by a diaganol straight line covering the upper left (or right) corner to the bottom right (or left) corner. The selection program then envelopes all writing within that rectangle.
Then paste to your new doc.

Creating templates would be very productive
Thank you for the pdf idea. Why didn't I think of that!
I use pdfs as templates for my daily planner. Tried for years use a to do app...but handwriting on my tablet using pdfs as templates works great.
I fully agree.
there should be the possibility to create a sample note or notebook to be copied or duplicated and be edited while saving the sample as original

I'd like to add my vote to request this feature.
Agreed, this should be a standard feature; can't believe it's not there
As an instructor I need to create a note as a template to be finished during a class, but then i need to go back to the template to do the same class again. Must be able to copy/duplicate.
