Sync between devices

I would like to have my notes automatically appear on my other note devices with papyrus installed. E.g. Create a note on note 2 and it appears on my note 10 1. If possible allow editing too from that device.

I know that everyone has been waiting a long time for sync and I want to reassure you that it is high on our list of priorities. As users of Squid ourselves, it’s something we really want as well! We appreciate your patience.

This is something we’ve been investigating since the app’s inception and we continue to investigate constantly. Syncing is a very difficult problem to solve, especially with regards to handwritten notes which can be combined with images and text and contain backgrounds from multiple PDFs. I don’t have an ETA for when sync will be supported, but rest assured this is a high priority for us. We appreciate everyone’s feedback on this idea.

Will users that purchased the backup/cloud service have to purchase another plugin for 2 ways sync?

Just paid for both premium add-ins, disappointed it doesn't allow for Sync between my Note II and Note 10.1. Looks like this has been planned for over a year now, will it ever happen?

Everything is moving towards cloud computing nowadays. Don't get left behind Papyrus! Sync ability is a must!

I see that this is planned since OCt 2012. Any progress on it as yet? This would be my note-app of choice if it could sync, since I use a Samsung Note 8 as tablet and a Samsung Note 2 as phone.

I agree very Strongly! I just purchased the cloud extension...and feel cheated, for it was to no avail. I still cannot sync between my galaxy note 8 and note 2

Please also include Sugarsync in your list of supported cloud services. I I just purchased the premium version for the cloud integration, but I prefer Sugarsync over both Box and Dropbox.

I can't believe this feature is not part of the premium package, for which I paid. Seems rudimentary to the point of assumption. Almost all other apps have this feature! Please quickly include it as its absence definitely hamstrings usefulness. Also, please include synchronization to Google Drive.

I just bought the cloud pack and am very disappointed. Backing up every 12 hours was not what I thought I would get. :(

    What I need is:

    1) Automatic push after I save. I want to take notes on my tablet, drive to work, and be able to access them. Whether on my phone using papyrus app, or via the web viewing PDF.

    2) I want it to sync both ways. Start editing on tablet, switch to phone while out, continue later on tablet.

Please add automatic sync to Google Drive.

I use Papyrus everyday. It is my go to app. Unfortunately, if I am not using my tablet I do not have access to these files. I fear that I will loose them if something happens to my tablet.

Syncing would also help with an additional challenge - searching. I could more easily find the document in Drive, then view or edit in Papyrus. I have about 1000 Papyrus files, which are hard to find.

yes please! as a student who uses my Notes (10.1 and II) to take notes in class this would help me immensely. I use dropbox but this would be easier. You guys could even make it a Premium Pack like with the cloud/tools people would happily use it.

Please add more cloud providers such as SkyDrive and Sharefile that we can sync with. I dont use Box or DropBox, and Sharefile is used by many corporates that I deal with.

Somehow the possibility to share Single notebooks or page seems to hea relevant feature especially, when you want to collaborate with others.

The best would be if sync could be done with cloud stora ges like dropbox and/or directly with known services like Google, Facebook etc.

This is an important feature that need to be add to Papyrus. With that, Papyrus would be my default note-taking app for classes. Support for Google Drive is a plus!

I think saving each note to separate file would be a good start. It'd have numerous advantages:

    1. sharing note in "original" format via any service (cloud, email, bluetooth, etc) would allow to import back note on another device,
    2. notes could be kept (by user choice) on cloud drive, opened from there (papyrus should allow this, not only import, but open like text/doc editors do),
    3. automatic sync would be easier with each note separate, for starters user could decide which conflicting version to keep when note was edited on both devices.

Samsungs S Note app keeps notes this way and you can use Drive or Dropbox to edit notes from there.
