Better note organization: sub-notebooks/folders, labels/tags, etc.
Provide a way to better organize notes, beyond the current notebook organization. This could be done with nested notebooks or folders, labels for notes, sections, chapters, etc.

Please add sub-folder options, like i want to organize my notes & squid does not provide this basic function like the other apps do, i like squid for many reasons, but this folder feature is a must for students, because we have many lectures & seminars. Please add this feature.
This is still desperately needed! My organisation would be through the roof with this. Currently, with all the notes I have, things are getting cluttered (which ruins the digital notetaking experience).
Need this really much! Maybe even with Labels like 'important' und coloured folders.

Fantastic app! Why not a cheap solution like using labels or a search bar? When you have lots of notes, is it difficult to be so tidy. Please!
I like this idea. A Notebook for a class. Then something like a Folder within that Notebook for each different topic of that class. Then pages for that specific topic after that.

Nested folders or sub folders are desperately needed and common use case. Most people have one folder is separate between classes, while a subfolder is needed for topics in the class
This is crucial to have to make note-taking worth doing in big amount. Too much notes with too little folder organisation is bad.
Really want to have the Folder and Sub-folder
I believe that many people needs that for better job organisation

I need at least a search function for notes titels and labels.
I have to change to another solution if this will not be implemented soon.
The writing experience of squid is great, the possibility to import pictures and pdf easily is great. But as soon as you have a bigger amount of notes you need more organizational functionality. It would be a pity if I have to switch to another solution, so pls implement this.
Or even, organize different noteblooks in different way.
Notebook A: Alphabetically
Notebook B: Oldest yo newest
Now all the notebooks are organize in the same way

Right now you have ‘‘notebooks’’, which are helpful, but don´t get the job done. People need to make notebooks, within notebooks, so we can organize things better. For example, right now, I can make a notebook named ‘‘algebra’’. This is helpful, but not enough. Please add this feature ASAP. Very helpful for school.
Hey guys, try downloading nimbus note. Uploading your writings up there will solve both the problems of synchronisation and organisation of your notes. The only disantvantage is that you will need to upload every single note, but it's better than nothing. And instead of paying monthly fee for squid buy more space there.

Or even a way to categorize types. I do digital planning, and would love a way to group my sticker books together and my journals, and my planners.
Please please. Been needing this for ages
students or users should be able to add sub-notes in their notebooks for better organization. for example, if you have a notebook for a certain subject, like math, then you should be able to make sub-notes for each unit in the class.
After using Squid/Papyrus for many years, a give up now. I moved to Microsoft OneNote on Android for better note organization.
Subfolder section is needed
I know there are categories already, but i'd like to add folders. For example so i write in one, draft writing and then another folder Final writing but the category could be named as Writing.
I'd like this feature because i take multiple IT courses and i would like to use the categories the same but in a different folder so i can seperate the classes, but still have my category marked Office Automation. Everything else is perfect. I only wish i had that.
Would be cool to change the theme too!
Hello please develope this function... i mean this is the wish of your costumers for about 5 years now... i mean why do you even dont respond to this!
