I see suggestions for this dating back to 2013. I want to label a y-axis and can't make the text run the right way, and I'm a premium user. Sad!

Being able to change text orientation is extremely important for class notes on a PDF: sometimes there is only proper room for text if it is vertical

It would be nice, to be able to rotate an image, like in word. Or to select something I wrote down and then rotate it as well.

This is seriously the feature that is making it difficult for me to choose between squid and fiinote

It is very important to have the ability to rotate the objects as like as pictures or shapes.
please add this feature for rotating and also moving the objects within the pages and even within the notebooks

True. The App is very nice, but without the possibility to rotate objects (selections) it cannot the uses cases of our company so we will have to pick another App for now (suggestions?).

Please keep me informed if this is implemented. Then we will give it a try again :-)

free rotation of imported media (images...) is a must

i also want to use this feature. that would be awesome

Can't be a serious contender without group, especially for handwritten text. Would also like to see a magnify mode for writing text which is automatically grouped

The ability to be able to rotate a shape when ceating it or afterwards by shape select

In general, being able to rotate objects would be great.

You guys have a rotation option..... But I mean, a freely rotation option, on the fly, in the same instance you select.

      • Anonymous commented  ·

For rotation, I was thinking a little handle on the outside of the selection box that would allow for a change in angle of the selected object.
As well, a mode for selecting single objects such as selection on stroke for moving (maybe resizing too if possible) would be extremely useful.
Being able to select, move, and resize things is what makes using this app so much better than paper! I'd love it if these features were added or improved upon.

        Any updates about these feature?
I may pay more money for this!

Rotate is a necessary tool for note taking. Grouping would be handy for creating formula sheets. A dashed line would make the engineering students including me very happy.

The rotate feature in lasso is definitely somthing i am missing from this app

Please can you officially comment on the status of This suggestion. Thanks

The lack of the "Rotate" and "Grouping" features are the only reasons that still keep me from fully migrating to Squid as my primary note-taking app.

A "Symmetry" tool would also be great for concept sketches!

I sketch while talking notes. I would love to be able to select something I drew and resize/rotate like in evernote.
