Add the ability to backup, export, and/or save to SD card
With the costs of micro SD card very cheap, this would be an option that would be of use to the average user.
Papyrus 2.0 is rolling out with the ability to create and restore backups locally to your device or SD card. Just open the Papyrus settings and choose “Backup and restore” then “Local backup”. In addition, when exporting individual notes to PDF, PNG, or JPEG, you can choose “Save to device” to save the exported note to your device or SD card.

Well if papyrus did that, they will not be able to make more money from the sale of their export feature.

Also you can add a permission in the Manifest for kitkat to do this.
There is a risk of device storage filling up and it would be good to be able to have older notes stored offline or on the SD Card.
Also, this can probably be implemented with a few lines of code.
As a workaround one can install an app that Papyrus can export to and which saves to the sd card. For example FolderSync works.
My i717 is running out of memory because of this :( I have 2GB for applications memory and Papyrus occupies half of it.
I tried moving the /data/data/.../files folder to my external 32gb sd card and linking it to the original location, but it failed miserably. Maybe some access right issue :(
I second this. I bought the backup feature just to find that it only works in the cloud and not locally. The description of this addon isn't exactly precise. So I would like to see SD backup. I don't want my notes to be in a cloud.
