I would like to be able to use the arrow keys to navigate between pages rather than having to click on the arrow keys i the navigation bar.3 votes
You can do this using alt + left/right arrows. FYI, using just left/right (and up/down) arrows by themselves pans around the page. A complete list of shortcuts is available here: http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1201054.
Would like to see support for tablet mode split screen in Chrome OS13 votes
Split screen is fully supported by Squid. Whether this works on your Chromebook depends on which version of Chrome OS and device you have. In general, this should work on Chrome OS 70. However, it is currently broken on the Pixel Slate (running Chrome OS 71 with Android 9) as well as Chrome OS 72 with Android 9. Both of these issues have been reported to Google and should be fixed in a future update to Chrome OS.
If you ever have any issues with split screen, please email us at email@example.com and let us know what device and version of Chrome OS you’re on and we’ll let Google know about the issue if we haven’t already.
You have a pretty awesome app but it lacks what all the rest lack - a dark (black) background.
You need to beat competition...most people want that.3 votes
As Tony described in the comments, this is already possible. Either create a new note with a blank background and choose the desired color, or change the background of an existing page by going to the Page Settings.
Bulk PDF export to Google Drive and / or Dropbox would be very handy.62 votes
You can now export one or more (or all) notes as PDFs to any other apps that accept PDFs (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) from the main screen in Squid! For details please see this FAQ article: http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1953943
Here’s bulk PDF export in action: https://twitter.com/squidnotes/status/1298779178217566208
Need text input directly on page instead of the pop out input box. Also need text wrapping for smaller sheet formats for those who type as well as write notes. I would gladly pay the fee for that but not the current input567 votes
Text tool now supports in-line editing, text wrapping, and resizable text boxes!
When adding new text, the text is automatically wrapped when the cursor reaches the edge of the screen or page.
Pasting text from the clipboard also wraps the text at the edge of the screen/page, based on the current zoom level.
After resizing the width of a text box, the text always wraps at the edge of the box.
I updated my Surface to Windows 10, and didn't realize this would break my premium features. I considered re-purchasing (loved the app), but the link to the store is broken.
This app was used every day -- I've switched to One Note for now (ugh), but the more notes I build in OneNote, the less likely I am to go back to Papyrus.2 votes
Update: Squid is no longer available on Windows (it was removed some time ago). We hope we can bring Squid back to Windows someday, but right now we’re focused on Android and Chromebook support.
This issue was not related to Windows 10. Papyrus (now called Squid) was removed from the Windows Store due to a trademark issue (see http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/716574 for more info). Squid is now back in the Windows Store, and your premium features should be working again. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused!
When moving a note to a folder I would like the list of folders to choose from to be sorted in the same order as my chosen sort setting

This was fixed in version 3.4.10.
Currently the way to import pdf's is by importing the whole pdf which starts a new note. A better implementation would be to create a note then import the pdf and be able to select pages you wish to be imported. This way multiple different pdf's and selected pages can be imported into one note file.58 votes
You can now insert any number of PDFs into an existing note (whether or not it was created from a PDF originally)! To do so, long press on the current page number, then choose Insert PDF. We’re still working on improving the discoverability of this feature, as well as the ability to only choose certain pages from a PDF when inserting it. For now, you can delete any pages you do not want after inserting the PDF (although this is still fairly tedious since we don’t yet have bulk delete).
I have a preffered page size that I want for all of my notebooks. Right now i have to go to settings and change the page size for EACH new page I add, that is painful.1 vote
You can choose the default background for a note in the Squid settings.
Add some sort of mode to quickly view & navigate all pages in a note. Helps with notes with more than 10 pages – maybe make it look like a contact sheet or Google Books navigation.18 votes
Just tap the current page number to view all the pages in a note and easily jump to the desired page.
Android version needs to enable Share intent, so other apps can share content into Papyrus.28 votes
This was added many moons ago!
After the update to material design when an item is selected there is no "duplicate" opción in the menú, now you have to make copy then paste.4 votes
Please add page select as type the page number not scrolling.
When i see pdf over 500 pages, i should touch right arrow over 100 times or scroll the page number chart so long time.
I wish i can reach the page at once as type the page number.
Thanks for good writing app Papyrus with good luck for everyone.51 votes
You can now type in a page number from the keyboard to jump to a specific page. To do this, tap the current page number to bring up the jump to page dialog, then tap the current page number and the keyboard will appear. Enter in the page number you want to jump to, then press Done/Ok on your keyboard and choose Ok on the dialog.
A grab tool to move objects on the page3 votes
You can currently drag and drop notes between Unfiled Notes and your various notebooks (or vice versa).
Ability to insert a blank page between existing pages.5 votes
You can now insert a page before or after the current page by long pressing on the current page number and choosing “Insert page…”.
This has been available for a long time. To email a note as a PDF or images, see http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/501223. From there, any email app that accepts either a PDF or images will appear as an option to share with.
