How do I add/insert an image or video?

Android

To add an image to a page:
  1. Tap the Add image icon at the top of the screen, or, if missing, choose Add image from the overflow menu (three dots in the upper right corner or menu key on some devices).
  2. Tap either Take picture (which will launch the Camera) or Choose image.
  3. If you tap Choose image, select the app you want to get the image from in the drawer on the left. If the drawer is not showing, tap the three horizontal lines in the upper left.
  4. Select the image you want to add.
On Android 7.0 and later or Samsung devices with Multi-Window mode, you can also drag and drop an image from another app into Squid.

For a video tutorial about adding images, see Squid - Add & Crop Images.

Please note that Squid for Android does not currently support the ability to insert a video into a note.

Windows/Windows Phone

To insert an image or video into a note, first bring up the app bar menu by swiping from the bottom of the screen (Windows) or by tapping the three dots in the lower right corner (Windows Phone). Choose Add image/video, then choose the image or video file.
