How do I restore a backup?

There are two ways you can restore a backup (depending on how you created the backup):

Please be aware that restoring a backup will overwrite (delete) any existing notes you have on your device, replacing them with the notes from the backup.

Local Backup

  1. Go to the Squid settings and tap Backup and restore
  2. Tap Local backup
  3. Tap Restore backup
  4. Choose a backup file to restore from your device or app (such as Google Drive)
  5. Tap Restore

Cloud Backup

  1. Go to the Squid settings and tap Backup and restore
  2. Tap Cloud backup
  3. Tap Storage providers and choose either Dropbox or Box and sign in
  4. Tap back and then tap Restore backup
  5. If a list of backups appears, choose the appropriate one and then choose Restore

    Note: Each backup corresponds to the value of the Cloud folder setting on the device when the backup was created.
