3 finger touch and drag sounds like a really cool way to add vertical space.
But what about if you have a limited page size and your text at the bottom goes over? Would it move to the next page?
Maybe it would be cool to have continuous pages underneath each other?
So excited that this is planned!
What if we take indexing a step further and have it create a table of contents at the beginning that links to each subsection too? That would be amazing!
Metamoji note has this feature and it's super nice. It would be cool if Papyrus added something like what Metamoji note has.
This could be neat if implemented.
This would be life changing. Please add.
This would be particularly great for organizing notes by chapter or tests for school.
After 3 semesters of school I have a bunch of class folders on there so it would be nice if I could sort them into a folder so they could look less cluttered and only have my current semester there.
This and it would be cool to have a quick bar of different pens (set thickness you selected), highlighters, etc.
Or maybe the quick bar is preset options like
* Type (Pen, highlighter)
* (Opacity for highlighter)
That way you can make a set of predefined pens or highlighters you most use.
I would enjoy the vertical bar of choices on the side that has a grip so you can move it around the page if needed. Also if it had a button to rotate it to a horizontal bar that would be great too.
I typically find myself using the same 5 presets in my notes, so this would help speed up my note taking.
I know that everyone has been waiting a long time for sync and I want to reassure you that it is high on our list of priorities. As users of Squid ourselves, it’s something we really want as well! We appreciate your patience.
This is something we’ve been investigating since the app’s inception and we continue to investigate constantly. Syncing is a very difficult problem to solve, especially with regards to handwritten notes which can be combined with images and text and contain backgrounds from multiple PDFs. I don’t have an ETA for when sync will be supported, but rest assured this is a high priority for us. We appreciate everyone’s feedback on this idea.
When I first saw the cloud services I was excited because I assumed it was syncing, but was very sad to see it was just a backup feature. I save my notes as a pdf at the end of every class to my google drive, so the backup feature wasn't what I was really looking for.
This would be an amazing feature to be able to toggle on and off! Please add this!
I think it would be cool to have one of those "multi-use buttons" where you touch the button and drag in a certain direction. So touch and drag left would go to pen, touch and drag right would be eraser, touch and drag down would do select.

Yeah, only updating edited notes would save a lot of time and effort (AND DATA).
It wouldn't be hard either. Just check edited date on device vs upload date on the cloud. They should be able to implement this easily. This should have been a thing since the very beginning...
Changed this feature request to just be for rotating items. If you also need support for grouping, please vote here: http://feedback.squidnotes.com/forums/177239-general/suggestions/33430924-group-objects
I agree with this. Sometimes I find myself stuck and having to erase and re-draw or re-write something.
Also adding to a similar topic, the selection can be a bit off sometime. It selects the largest area you have hovered over instead of just within the drawn space grabbing more than you wanted sometimes. Does this happen to other people too?
